Becoming a Member
We are always
looking for more churches to become ongoing and involved members of the
Council of Churches of Greater Springfield. If your church is interested
in learning more about the Council and its
programs, our
Executive Director
would be happy to visit your congregation to help you discover the joys
and benefits of your church becoming a member of the Council. Please
call our office at 413-733-2149, ask to speak to our
Executive Director,
and schedule a date and time to meet with him or to have him to visit
you and your church.
Volunteering
To find out what volunteer opportunities exist, call the Council office at 413-733-2149
between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, or e-mail us at mailto:
info@councilofchurchesgs.org
You can also stop by the Council office and talk with our
staff over a cup of coffee, tea,
or hot chocolate; and we will share our ideas, explain more about the Council, and discover together just where your talents can be best utilized.
We can always use assistance in the office itself, as well as with the ongoing
programs of the Council. We are also frequently looking for new people with fresh ideas to fill open slots on
our
Board of Directors and within our various
departments. So as you can see,
we truly do need your help!
Giving
The Council of Churches
of Greater Springfield relies solely on member church pledges, grants,
and individual donations. Without your help, we would not be able to
serve the greater Springfield community with the multitude of
programs
we now offer.
If you can help us financially, please do so by sending your contribution or pledge to:
The Council of Churches of Greater Springfield
39 Oakland Street
Springfield, MA
Or please click
here to request more information about giving.
You can even stipulate
that your donation be used for a specific Council
program, or within a
specific Council department.
Thank you in advance for your financial support!
